corporate women's rights in S. Korea

A woman in South Korea has won the right to not drink - forcing her to drink as part of her job was consered a violation of human dignity. An omitted detail: the article never mentions how men also partake in weekly visits to sex clubs...

I also thought this line in the IHT article was odd:
However, as more women have joined her division, she said, the emphasis on alcohol has decreased. "Before it was always grilled pork with soju followed by mixed drinks," she said. "Now, I can suggest that we go to a Thai or Italian restaurant."

(and drink beer or wine instead??!)
